I got a call from Teagan’s TICU nurse at Scottish Rite in Atlanta. She wanted to help set up some photos for this little girl as a gift to the family. Teagan has Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Her nerves and muscles don’t grow the way they should, and are slowly fading. This sadly means that she can’t move her arms or legs at all, and eventually Teagan will not be able to breathe on her own. Knowing she was too sick to leave, I drove down to the hospital there and we had a quick magical photo session right there in the hospital gardens. Her family was all there to watch and help.
Teagan passed about 2 weeks after these photos.
